Why Fireside exists.
Most companies ship great work and say almost nothing about it. Small teams lose out to slow-moving incumbents because they don't talk enough about what makes them unique.
Fireside fixes that. Plug in sources — call transcripts, GitHub activity, internal updates — and Fireside surfaces the moments worth sharing, then writes publish-ready drafts in your voice, for every channel.
Stories that are:
- uniquely and authentically yours
- grounded in what actually happened, and
- interesting.
Storytelling is changing.
Right now, AI scrapes everything you publish. Your best creative output is copied instantly. Your marketing literally trains the LLM tools your competitors use to compete with you.
The old model — marketing team writes stories, publishes to channels — is broken. Competitors can imitate your voice, your format, and use the same channels. But they can't imitate your data, and they can't copy the engine you use to turn that data into stories.
That's the future of company storytelling: not human-driven, but systems-driven. Your company's unique context — team outputs, product data, customer interactions — processed by an algorithm that knows your voice and produces stories at a scale no comms team can match alone.
Fireside is that engine. Own your narrative, or someone else will own it for you.
Design principles
- Human-approved publishing. Fireside drafts; you decide what goes live.
- Traceability. Every story points back to a source quote — no hallucinations dressed up as company news.
- Consistency. Format and voice are repeatable across runs and across your team.
- Signal over slop. Five real stories beats fifty forgettable ones.
Privacy & data handling
Your uploads are processed to generate stories and are not used to train AI models. Use non-sensitive content — public earnings calls, press releases, or internal updates you'd be comfortable sharing — while testing the product.
Data may be retained for a limited period to help us debug issues. Our AI provider is Anthropic. Outputs can be deleted on request.
Who's behind Fireside
Fireside is built by Sean O'Neill. Before this, Sean helped build the content engine at Simply Wall St — scaling automated publishing from 50,000 to 500,000 posts per year, reaching 40 million monthly readers globally. A team of five, completely automated.
That system helped grow the company from $0.5M to $10M ARR. The content was unique, proprietary, and drove top-of-funnel acquisition, engagement, and retention across every market Simply Wall St operated in.
There simply aren't many people who have been responsible for publishing 500,000 times a year, in every market, on multiple channels including in-product and on the web. That experience is what Fireside is built on — and it's why the engine works.
Doing great work and not talking about it enough?
If you're a founder too stretched to talk about your work consistently, I'd like to help. I personally demo and onboard every user — you'll get the benefit of the same expertise that led the world's largest automated news organisation.
