Automated content pipelines for early-stage Fintech and SaaS
We help companies build automated story engines that produce interesting stories for awareness, SEO/GEO and top of funnel.
How we work
This is decidedly not an agency retainer. Want to know why? Read here.
We work with ambitious Fintech and SaaS leaders and their teams to set communications strategy, identify key priorities, and then roll up our sleeves and help you deliver.
- An always-on story engine that turns your work into publish-ready drafts or feeds for every channel.
- Full source integration – GitHub, call transcripts, Notion, Granola, Google Drive, product updates, changelog.
- Brand voice tuning until the output sounds like your company and respects your brand and compliance guardrails.
- Evals and quality control – We can help you set up or improve your own evals, compliance/copy review bots so you can measure and control what you produce.
- Direct access to me in person, Slack, text, or email for the whole engagement.
then $500/mo subscription for the software.
Book a call →Where teams get stuck
- 01 Nobody's heard of your company or product. It's not immediately obvious why you're special.
- 02 Storytelling depends on the founder finding a spare hour. So it happens in bursts, then stops for a quarter.
- 03 Content is manual or with limited LLM use. Manual ideation, drafting, copying into ChatGPT, copying again into the CMS, formatting, review.
- 04 You don't trust the AI content you're doing now. It's generic, interchangeable, faintly embarrassing or confidently wrong – and it sounds exactly like everyone else's.i
- 05 Your buyers are asking LLMs about you.You have limited control over how you show up, or no ability to influence the discussion.
How we help
Produce more interesting communications, more consistently, with less effort.
Simplify your publishing. Stop copying text and data between three different systems simply to make a post.
Consistent, specific, evidence-backed content is what models look for when a buyer asks what to use. We help you produce and display it.
What a typical engagement looks like
You can wire up the Claude API in an afternoon. Filtering the data, deciding what's interesting, making sure it fits with your marketing objectives, at the right level of quality - is the other three months.
Goals and objectives
We meet with your team to discuss objectives and align on the focus areas for automation. What will be human-driven, and what will Fireside look after?
We connect you to Fireside
Your GitHub, call transcripts, product updates, changelog – connected into one engine. We do the integration.
We tune it until it sounds like you
The part you can't shortcut. 100k words a day, generated and tested, until the output sounds like your company and meets your regulatory requirements. Evals tuned so you can side-by-side models and swap them out as needed.
Fireside goes always-on
The engine runs on its own – watches your sources, surfaces what's interesting, drafts posts for every channel. You approve, it publishes. I'm embedded the whole time, adjusting.
Handover
I handover to your team with documentation and training and we step back to a $500/mo fee for the software. You have unlimited support whenever you need it.
Hi, I'm Sean, the founder of Fireside
Automated storytelling is new territory. Most organisations are still working out how to do it – but I've been doing this since 2018.
The techniques behind Fireside were pioneered while scaling Simply Wall St's automated publishing to 500,000 posts per year, reaching 30 million monthly readers in almost every market on the planet. This isn't a side project for me. It's the next evolution of fifteen years of telling stories about companies.
Right now I'm working with a a leading investing platform – turning financial data into content automatically, helping them beat their competitors and show up in LLM search. I'd like to help you do the same.
We generate and test over 100,000 words a day for both manual and automated evals. That obsessiveness and attention to detail – the bit between "we have Claude" and "this actually sounds like us" – is the part I'm selling you.
More about me →Where this is going
Today Fireside works with individual sources – a transcript, a set of PRs.
The vision: In the future it will weave every sources of context together into compelling stories about your company, product, customers, and industry. What you did last year, what changed, how you learned, who drove it, what your customers said about it – all supported by real customer and employee quotes, internal documents, CEO and leadership thought pieces, team shout-outs.
Then, the stories will fan out to every channel, tag your employees and partners, appear in internal or external feeds and notifications, and even act as prompts for AI UGC video. That's where it's going!
Questions teams usually ask
Is this an agency?
No. Fireside is agentic software we configure for you. We tailor fireside to your exact needs – then it's $500/mo to keep it running.
Why not just use ChatGPT?
You should! Once you reach the limits of what's possible with typing into a terminal, that's where we come in.
How embedded are you?
Deeply. I'll come into your office, join your key meetings, work with your team in-person and async. That's the whole reason I only take two companies at a time.
Why only two companies at a time?
I'm already committed three days a week to a large client. Two at a time is the honest capacity.
What's the first step?
Let's chat! It's an open conversation about what you're trying to do, where the blockers are, and how we can help. If we're not a fit, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.
Who this works for
I only take two companies at a time, so being honest about fit saves us both a call. If we're not right for you, I'll tell you.
- B2B SaaS or fintech, regulated or with clear brand guidelines
- Small company with more opportunities than the current comms/marketing team can pursue
- You want it built and running, not a strategy deck
- You can give me access to your data – repos, transcripts, docs
- Someone internally will approve and publish
- Pre-product, or pre-team yet – there's no raw material to work with
- You don't believe LLMs can produce commercially valuable content
- You want a self-serve tool you configure yourself
- You can't share repos, calls, or internal context
Writing
Our field notes on building story engines.
How to reduce LLM hallucinations in human writing
A living document of our learnings from producing hundreds of thousands of words every day.
What is a company story engine?
Storytelling should be infrastructure your company operates, not a task someone squeezes in.
Talk about your work more.
If you're a small company that needs storytelling support, let's chat about whether this makes sense for you.
